OK SFPE - July Meeting - New FP Technology Test Results

Summary: James "Andy" Lynch, President of Amped R&D, LLC will present test results from three new fire protection technologies: a flooring system for pool fire hazard reduction, a new deluge nozzle, and a water additive for Class C fire fighting. 

Presenter Bio: Mr. Lynch serves as the President of Amped R&D, LLC the research and development arm of Amped I, LLC. For over 15 years, Mr. Lynch has amassed extensive experience in fire protection engineering, code consulting, fire research and product development. Mr. Lynch has extensive fire testing experience having conducted numerous test series for litigation purposes, the military and commercial products.

Mr. Lynch has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a M.E. in Fire Protection Engineering from WPI. He is a member or the Salamander Honorary Fire Protection Engineering Society, the National Fire Protection Association, the Society of Fire Protection Engineers, National Fire Sprinkler Association, and the International Association Fire Safety Science.
