This Thursday’s SFPE presentation, entitled “Finding and understanding fire resistant designs” will be brought to you by Jon Roberts and will include a fun filled, hands on, group exercise, that will help you to further develop your professional skills when it comes to the often misunderstood world of fire resistance. Bring your, smartphone, tablet, or laptop to participate.
Through actually using the tools first hand, attendees will gain a better understanding of fire rated assemblies and designs, not only how to find them quickly, but how to use online tools to see what parts go where, and what changes can be made to assemblies and still be seen as an acceptable assembly.
